PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAIR REMOVAL
Please allow 24 hours after sunbathing or using a tanning bed before waxing. Hair must have at least 3-4 weeks of growth or be 1/4 inch long. Prior to waxing, refrain from physical exertion. Optimal results are not achieved when skin is hot or moist from perspiration. I cannot perform waxing on clients taking Accutane, Retin-A or antibiotics, due to skin sensitivity these prescriptions cause. Clients must be off Accutane at least 6 months and must discontinue use of Retin-A two weeks prior to waxing. If you take antibiotics, you must check with your physician before waxing. I recommend prior to your appointment using an exfoliant, which can be purchased at the Spa.
